Tip of the Spear Ventures (“TIP”) is looking for 2-3 part-time interns for the Fall Trimester 2021 period. The expected time commitment is 10-12 hours per week and will be 100% virtual. TIP will offer the interns a valuable experience where they will learn the strategy of a Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) firm, get direct exposure to business founders, evaluate businesses and tap into TIP’s network.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Due diligence and financial analysis
- Market research and analysis
- M&A screening / creation of investment memos
- Modeling M&A projections and returns
- M&A Funding via debt / equity
- Updating TIP’s marketing materials
Qualifications:
- MBA student (preferred) or college students studying Accounting / Finance
- Strong academic performance
- Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
- Passion for M&A and Entrepreneurship through Acquisition
- Financial analysis and / or data-driven research experience
- Complete discretion in regard to confidential matters
- Experience or interest in marketing or public relations (preferred, but not required)
- Demonstrated initiative and ability to be a self-starter (shown through entrepreneurial or leadership experiences in college or work)
