Our venture capital activities focus on early funding initiatives (or angel investing), from seed to venture capital. We are a member led organization committed to finding and funding great early-stage entrepreneurs with economy-changing ideas. We help turn vision into reality! We are a recognized angel investment group through the Angel Capital Association.
Tip of the Spear – Angel Investing is comprised of over 40 members. Our members are CEOs, entrepreneurs, venture capitalists and business leaders who have founded, funded and built world-class companies themselves. We come from a wide array of industry expertise and together create an extensive network of entrepreneurial support. We mentor and coach the entrepreneurs in whom we invest, serve on their boards, provide contacts and assist with team building, strategic planning and financial capital acquisition (See our Tip of the Spear – Angel Investing section for more information on the variety of services available).
The mission of Tip of the Spear – Angel Investing is to foster an engaged and smart angel investment environment in an effort to enhance the opportunities for entrepreneurs from start-up through exit. Tip of the Spear – Angel Investing member mission is to provide opportunities for its members to obtain outstanding financial returns by investing in early-stage companies and accelerating them to market leadership. We lead deals ranging from $50,000–$1.0 million. We also have a vast network of angel groups and venture capital firms that we syndicate with to do deals north of $1.0 million.
